hi
first post on here, iv had a good look about and read about converting using mkv2vob, however i dont know what to put the settings on and also i did planet earth through it(8gb) and it only took 10 mins so im obviously doing something wrong. the file did stream to my 360 but it was about a 22 inch picture displayed on a 47 inch screen
please help if you can

Adjust the aspect ratio with your controller (or remote if you use one).

Oh, mkv2vob does run fairly quick.

adjusting it on the tv remote makes little difference as it only has 2 settings through the component, lots of settings in other modes but just the 2 through component. some settings would be nice off somebody who has done these for use with this size display.

I mean using the 360 controller and adjusting the 360 output. Not adjusting your tv output. Is that what you tried? Because when I adjust the 360, I get native (small pic), full, letterbox, zoom, and another setting or two. I can't remember all of them off the top of my head.

where are these settings, its my lads x box an i just started playin around with it as i didnk know its full capabilities

With your movie playing, move either of the joysticks on the 360 controller. This will cause a menu bar to pop up at the bottom of the screen. Scroll over to "Display Mode". Use the "A" button to change settings. When you get the setting you want, select the "B" button to hide the menu bar.

Once you change the setting, it should stay the same. You don't have to set it each time for every movie... just once.
