I'm looking for a Pioneer DVR but there's so many models, does it matter?

This is for 360 back ups, everyone seems to use a different one, I can't make up my mind, each one mentioned is said to work, but does one work best above all? or does it not even matter?

112D is what I see people using.

Free open source software = made by end users who want an application to work. Get off my beach before I burn down your village!

What a sec!, so it doesn't even have to be a Pioneer burner? that opens up a lot more options...which is actually going to make it harder to decide.

But it SHOULD be a Pioneer. ;)
The current model is 215D MSRP is $39 but can be had for $31 shipped on Newegg.
Probably the best burner out there.

I have a 115d from newegg for $21.
I've heard of people having success with other burners as well, but for me the Pioneer 115d is awesome

Oh please, ANY DL burner will work, why does he need to waste his money on this overrated brand?

@roaddawg1 it is not overated. You use what works, However yes you can use different burners. I currently use a mad dog, but note that some burners do not support 360 games and you will be out of the money you spent. That's why we recommend pioneer because you stick with what works. It just depends on what your preference is. Personally I would spend alot of $ and get a nice one and hope that it burned 360's as well, but then again I already have a drive to fall back on. Just do yourself a favor and get a pioneer. and no there isnt a difference they all burn the game which is the only reason you want it, so buy it already!

many burners work today, but if it wasn't for the Pioneer 111D, the xbox scene wouldn't even be at this point today.

<----- Uses a Pioneer SATA. I don't remember the model number though. It's the SATA model on Newegg with the most reviews though. Cost around 30 bucks.
