which blu-ray company is best right now

    hello all! just a quick question and i understand it is based on opinions but i will aks anyways. I am currently searchign for a blu-ray player and am wondering which company is the best right now? I have a 40" samsung ln-t4071 model tv

    Here's what I think:

    If you want a player right now that's full spec (BD-Live 2.0, internal decoding of advanced audio, 1080p/24fps) - then the PS3 is for you. Get a 40GB model for $399. The only drawbacks: no analog out and no bitstreaming.

    If you're fine with a Final Standard Profile 1.1 standalone player and your budget is limited - then check out the Magnavox NB500 from Walmart at $298.

    If you want the best standalone player available at this time that's Profile 1.1 - then check out the Panasonic DMP-BD30K (MSRP $499).

    If you want the complete package in a standalone player (full decoding and bitstreaming, 1080p/24, analog outs, BD-Live 2.0) then wait for the Panasonic DMP-BD50 or the Sony BDP-S550 both coming out later this year.
