Everytime I turn around and look, another new member has added a thread in the receivers and amplifiers section on some type of satellite "receiver" question. I believe the newest members are believing the receiver and amp section is for sat "receivers". Maybe a good new name for the thread might be "Audio amplifiers and receivers, NO satellite reception equiptment questions" Just today http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/665295/4042870
I post there frequently, and it is very irritating to see so many satellite threads there. Maybe "Satellite Equipment" needs it's own forum?
with all that is going on in the satallite world today, i already assumed that it had its own place, but i guess not? then in my opinion yes they should deffiantly have their own spot. as the scene with those guys remains pretty big.
It would be nice for us to have a purely analog section.. we could talk about wires and why proper speaker fuses sound better than tinfoil XD
Awww c'mon.. we have all blown them 60A fuses in our shitkicker 1200wpc peavy amps and in desperation resorted to the contents of our last 10 pack of lamberts Ears and lungs are made to be abused... better by smoking and good tunes than bus pollution :looolz Ever had to put your turntable in another room because of the feedback??
Lol. Typically no turntables though. Freakin' Amen to that! Ciggies and my Shure Sm58...it's like double abuse!
I don't frequent such forums, so have no opinion(s). The only comment i'll make is that it sounds like there'll be more threads to go in a new forum (if a new forum/forums were to be created) than the shiny new DVD-VCR Combo forum which (as expected) is already dead in the water due to virtually zero interest
Looks like there's been a lot of that going on already. Biting off the nose to spite the face springs to mind here.
