Can anyone provide a breakdown of the different linux programs out there for PS3?

The three that I know are:
Fedora Core 5
Yellow Dog Linux
Ubuntu

Which is easiest to use?
Which is the best one and why?
Which is easiest to install?
Which one provides the most features?


If I've read correctly, I should be able to install one of them with VLC media player to get more video streaming support than what the PS3 can do on its own. I appreciate any info you can provide.
