hey guys im having a problem with my duo x2 modchip. when i put it into bank 1 it is supposed to go to FLASHBIOS but instead the led on the front of the xbox turns green, then turns off, then turns green again, then turns off, then FRAGS. (Flashing red and green) any ideas why? and im not sure where to get the flashbios 512k bios.
Hi oz560 I'm having the same problem with my 2 XBOXES both have the Xecuter 2.6 CE Mod Chip in 1 has 160 gig HHD in the other has 80 gig HHD in and have reformated both but no luck in sorting them I have reflashed bank 1 bios on 1 of my XBOXES do not want to flash bank 2 yet unless I have to. Please can anyone give me and oz560 any advice on this problem. TIA Taffy41
I actually figured it out. i found the xecuter flashbios resized it to 512k and flashed bank 2 of my bios with it. i used Eurasia Flash Disc to manually flash my chip because there was no other way but it works great now. Taffy41 if you have any other problems just post them here and i will reply to you soon. Also do you have Xbox Live? If so what is your gamertag? If not do you have XBC or Xlink Kai?
Hi oz560 You managed it lol great. OK have you still got the bios you used to sort your xbox as not to sure how you went about it to resize it, if so anychance you can let me have it please. Sorry but no I do not play on xbox live as I play online with computer most of the time and the xboxes are for my son and daughter and all of my xbox games are not o**g. But I do have XBC Xbox Connect 5.1.5.293 and XLink Kai v7.3.1.7 win32 I have not tryed them myself but you are welcome to them. PM me when you ready and will setup a server for you. Thanks Taffy41
