MiniDvi To ?????

    I am buying a mac mini and I need to know which lead I need to connect it to my tv. I know that I need a minidvi to vga adaptor but its very short so what kind of cable do I need between the two adaptors

    I dont understand, hopefully someone will have came across the same problem.

    the mac mini has a full DVI connector on the back. As far as i know it still comes with the adapter to VGA. If your TV only has VGA then use the adapter with a longer VGA cable. If your TV hads DVI then dont worry about the adapter and use a long DVI cable

    got you now mate cheers. one more question. i am going to try it with a crt tv for the meantime until i get my new computer room sorted.

    i have bought a pal dvi video adaptor. what else do i need to go with it.

    That will depend on the CRT TV. dont know of many that have VGA or DVI so you may need a composite adapter.
