DVD playback on my TV

    I am currently using ulead videostudio 7 to edit my dv tapes. Ive transfered them on to dvd and when I play it on my television the picture is very jittery. The recording on the camcorder is long play and its a JVC gd100ek.

    Don't use long play.
    Transfer via firewire in AVI mode them re-encode to Mpeg2 making sure you have the correct field order set.
    If you set the field order wrong then the result will be awful.
