i can play 720p files fine. but i've never been able to handle a 1080p file without heavy stuttering. here are my specs. Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core Duo. Memory 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. Macbook running OS X Leopard. my question is, is there any settings i can set for VLC player to get these files to playback right? VLC has the same options on Windows and Mac but if anyone has the Mac solution on how to fix this problem that is acceptable as well. thanks for any help.
What video card do you have? sometimes if your video card does not support HDCP MKV's 1080P videos do not play correctly
