I've downloaded a couple of TV programs from the program (not iPod) web site, but they're only available in M4V format. I want to burn them to DVD, but I need to find a reliable way to convert the M4V format to a format that I can burn to DVD. I only need to find a way to convert the M4V files.
I searched Afterdawn forums two months ago and today and haven't found any reliable information, but a lot of the forums I've read are six months old or later. I'm wondering if there's any recent information that's reliable for M4V conversions. I'd prefer freeware. I have other applications to do the rest.
I do not know if the M4V files I've downloaded are DRM protected, which is one of the issues discussed in previous forums. If it matters, can someone tell me how to check for this?
Try DVD Flick.
It includes a concise guide.
Note in the 'Project Settings' to choose the correct video type - 'NTSC' for North America, 'PAL' for EU and Australasia.
It will optionally burn the disk using the included 'IMGBurn' software.
