ok so i was able to remove the epoxy(79 obviously)and while desoldering(cleaning up the area) i ripped off half of one of the gold solder points decided to quit while i thought i was ahead of the game only to find out when i power up i get the 360 logo for a few seconds then get contact microsoft mess. and the ring of death how can i get the keys to install on a 78 drive. if it matters i have a halo 3 console

crap i created an image (with tut from afterdwan) not sure how to access it will post as soon as i figure it out. but if you have the gold prongs facing you its the sixth gold prong from your left where d 1 would be soldered to and about half(starting from the edge working towards the chip) is missing none of the green area from where the gold ends is scraped off

ok i just had a billow(did i just use that word? lol) of smoke come out from both ears from all the wood burning going on between them but here goes can i use say a hit. ver. 59 (46-59,78 for that matter)treat it as a restore with orininal f.ware with keys from another system THEN reflashing?
