Ive been looking on the internet for about a month or so and i have tried almost every tutorial i have seen, and i am guessing i did something wrong. Does anyone know of a site that has a step by step tutorial on running a counter strike source server or if you can write it here, either would be great. If you need to know my specs or whatever, just ask.

Your running Steam right??? There should be an install under the "Tools" tab for running a server...

I need to know what ports need to be opened, any other tools needed, or any other configuration that needs to be done. And yes i am running steam and i am installing the dedicated server right now :)

If your running steam then all the ports needed should be unblocked on the exceptions list for programs in your firewall... Otherwise look it up on the steam support site, it might be listed there... http://support.steampowered.com
