DVDROM Doesnt recognise PS2 dvds....

    I have an IDE DVD-ROM 16x, exactly the name it says in hardware manager.
    It doesnt read any ps2 dvds, or any dvds at that fact...So Im looking for a driver update, im pretty sure thats the problem... So I need some help finding the newest drivers, Ive looked for over an hour with no luck...

    It'd be pretty old varnull he's listed the original driver as 2001

    Even if the dvd rom was bought in 03 you'd be better off getting any of the topline DVD-RW's like lite-on,pioneer,asus as it will avoid all issues regarding not reading but more importantly will not have inconsistant reading of PS'2 disk issues especially if they have minor scratches,most late model dvd-rw's are around 40-50 nz dollars so if in pounds that'd be around 20-30 if that,if USA it'd be 30 at a guess
