In windows media player , i played a video fine but the picture looks garish . As for other players like VLC media player , the color looks distorted and colors are all out of place . In the past , WMP also have this problem and i change its settings at tools/options/performance/advance and uncheck the box "use video mixing renderer". Someone kindly help me solve this problem .
Try accessing the settings within the video adapter driver. If not helpful, perhaps reinstall the video driver. (Maybe a newer one?)
