My friend is going to purchase an 80GB PS3 Soon. He asked me to research PS3 Mod information.

I have a 300GB HD in my PS2 I use to play PS2 Games (HD Loader or Toxic OS). My friend is wondering if:

1. Can he do the same thing with the PS3 for (PS3 Not Yet)/PS2/PSX games?

2. Can he install a bigger HD? Yes

There's no way to load iso's off the HDD yet, unless you use a PSX emulator under Linux but that's a little too much work for little gain.

People say that the games dont have regions so can be played on all consoles. But Blue-ray DVDs do so can only be played on their respective consoles.

I cant confirm that but maybe someone else can...
