80gb ipod HDD in Ipod Mini

    just wondering if anyone has tried doing this
    i know u can install a 32gb CF card

    just trying to see if it will work before i try and buy a 80gb ipod hard drive

    From my knowledge of apple products this should be close to impossible without a soldering iron. Why? Because apple products (the majority) have all thier internals welded and soldered together making the replacment of individual parts a big bummer. I would not try it if i was you and that soldering was involved because once you screw up you iPod will be screwed too....permanently

    My best advice is....if you need more space, buy more space. LIke the iPod classic. Up to 120 friggin gigs....thats A TON of music.
