Hi all i have a few HDTV audio l/r out. I have RCA jacks to hook into there but i dont have any ports open on my computer sound card to connect to? Can i hook the TV to a computer sound system? I have a bunch of speakers and surround sound but no way to hook inot the system.

Anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish that?

not quite sure why you are wanting to do that but what about two L and R RCA male plugs to one 3.5mm stereo jack plug.
This would go into the microphone input on your sound card but you would need to play with the software settings of the program you are using and the windows sound manager utility to get the sound to come through and that depends on what you are trying to achieve and via what programs.
