I've been researching for hours and I narrowed it down to about 10 LCDs(i definitely want lcds) from different brands. I think the best would be the V or W4100 or XBR4 from sony, or 530, 550, 69, and maybe 650 or 750 from samsung.
What are the main important differences between all these lcds?
Apart from contrast, definition, etc what do I need to look at? My budget is $3000, but I would really like to spend less than that.
I need a tv that upscales very well to full hd, since I'm mostly going to watch SD.
Which brand's engine delivers the best quality?
Also, what's samsung engine to upscale? (Sony has Bravia Engine PRO, Philips Pixel HD, what about samsung)
Also, is the 120Hz option really that obvious or would I just notice it in very fast moving games?
Thank to anybody who can help me

If you watch sports get a Plasma, you want see the fuzz when something moves real fast. LCD's are getting better but are not there yet.
