im sorted now its working, the provider id was wrong, i didnt have to do a manual scan...it came on right away after i added the right provider id.

just a few words to SYNSEAL for the codes you put up earlier, as its sorted out my 'signal updating' problem. many thanks

Will these codes cange every day?
its doing my head in especially as it takes a while to get the new codes...and the new codes for Ch&rus comes last :)
Who goes and gets these codes and in fairness the timing is quick for certain provider ID's but how do you guys go about getting the right codes?

No problems i noticed the codes above were wrong for your provider hence posting the new codes glad it helped

well my solution is i'm here till 11.30 then i,m gone for 2night I've got all these channels and i aint watched one of them and the phone has'nt stopped

Argggggg. I've tried every code I can find, with every different provider Id and it still wont work :(. I've been at it since yesterday. Still, I know heaps more than I did 2 days ago.

The question is, am I doing something wrong or is it possible the codes aren't working in Stockport (nr manchester).

btw, if the codes work i assume the picture will come back straight away, not stay on the updating screen.

Oh, and a big up to all the guys tryin to help, you must be sick of it all by now. So a big thanks to you all! (even if i cant get mine sorted :( )

scooby900 who are you paying for cable who ever this is, will be your provider id after that you get codes for your area and input and should work oh and codes changed again today so have you got correct ones link below will give you most recent

Who's your service provider Scooby?

Service provider is vgin, old nthell. i believe they are 5401.

I have used codes I found in the forums, but no joy. So i tried codes I got from BigMaq toolbar and they didnt work.

I press menu then yellow, enter and check the codes, save and exit to tv, goto sly sports and sit and wait, and wait, and wait, drink a beer, wait then cry.

54 01 is n*l Ireland is it the same for england i'm not sure!!

54 01 N*L ... is for both UK and Ireland :)

just tried code from link with 5A 01, also tried it with 5C 01. what the stuff am i missing
