hi to all. i have a macromaster unit that claims to allow the recording of copy protected material that use blocking signals. i have the unit hooked up correctly, but i am experiencing a problem at the moment. my LG RH7500 DVD Recorder allows me to record programmes saved to my V+ box, but will not allow me to view prgrammes available on the TV Cathup On Demand when viewing 4OnDemand or BBC iPlayer. this is when using AV1 on my recorder, which is basically the connection that i have coming through my macromaster connection. however, if i use AV2, which is the connection between my TV and DVD Recorder by scart, i can record any on demand programme. the only problem is that a black line/bar appears all along on the bottom of the screen for any recorded programme when i transfer it from my DVD recorder to my PC via a DVD-RW disc. i am a virgin cable customer, not a sky customer, just in case this is an issue with reference to my problem above. many thanks.
