Do you mean connect to the GPS? or the activation? It's likely (as I found from experience) that you have a tomtom version for a different region/satellite, so you will need to find the numbers for your local region and manually enter them. This can be from from a working installation, and are the same across any tomtom device.
TBH.. all I do is install and activate.. connection is up to the user so I don't mess. I can probably find out.. it may need the separate gps unit on the 95.
For the voices you have to search the "usual places" and they need to be for the version 5.0 5.5 etc that you have, or experiment.. the celebrity voices seem to be all version.
