i installed garmin mobile xt (downloaded cracked version) into my nokia n82.........used the keygen....and pasted the code in my phone......but....after searching for a gps device, it keeps on saying no gps devices found......i even deleted the GarminDevice.xml file but showed no results.....the file just keeps on reapearing each time i try to search for gps device...... the instructions said that i should go to settings\system and choose "connected gps" but i cannot find that..... i can only see remote gps.....in remote gps....when i click the connection allowed to garmin gps devices only....a compass like pic poped out and says gps is off at the top.......when i try to click pair new gps, it will try to search for gps device........but there is a bluetooth icon next to the search glass....it seems like it is trying to search for a gps device through bluetooth or something...please help me....thanks...
It's looking for a bluetooth GPS device, which is probably normal for this software. I think the n82 should manage GPS without an addon device, but does this software support that on technically an "unsupported device"? http://www.coolsmartphone.com/article768.html tomtom works well on these phones as long as you get the right version. As for Garmin.. sorry.. I'm not impressed by the hardware or software. It seems fragile and very picky.
hey, thanks for helping me out here but garmin mobile xt is made for smart phones with build in gps and the n82 has a build in gps...it just won't search for the build in gps...and tom tom doesn't cover my area...
