I've ripped a movie with DVD Shrink. I have the Imgburn and ripit4me loaded. Which should I use to actually put the movie on the disc? I also have nero smartstart Nero 7 Suite. I guess my question is once the movie is downloaded to the hard drive what is the next step.

If no compression is needed, Use either nero or Imgburn (Iprefer Imgburn)

If compression is needed use shrink, then Nero or Imgburn

Just to add to the sagely advice iluvendo gave, you need a different version of Shrink to call on Imgburn after transcoding.

This thread outlines that process.

I also prefer Imgburn over Nero, BTW.

The easiest way of doing it is using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter combined. Download and install the latest versions of DVD Shrink, (3.2 i think), and DVD Decrpyter. Make sure you install them to their default directory.
Then, load DVD Shrink, and insert your dvd and everything as normal, then click backup, a popup is displayed, in the first option, click ISO BURN WITH DVD DECRPYTER, then click backup, after the backup is made, DVD Decrypter will launch, and allow you to burn the backup youve just made onto a DVD-5.

Always happy to help :)

How is that any easier than utilizing Imgburn? The link i gave above will replace Dvd Decrypter in Shrink's directory thus calling on it immediately after Shrink finishes transcoding. Just as it would have with Dvd Decrypter. And the OP stated he/she already has Imgburn.

Not to mention that Imgburn is the updated version of the burn engine portion of Dvd Decrypter.

yeh true 7thsinger, it is easier, but the compatibility between dvd shrink and dvd decrypter is a lot better, not to mention that dvd decrypter uses the same booktype suggested by dvd shrink, but imgburn doesnt.
