i have the connected my starview clone to my laptop via usb. i have also downloaded GTRom_Super_705e and CryptStar-v1.4-Core257.

My problem is in devise manager it says my Pc to Serial lead is in port 7.

and GTRom_Super_705e only goes up to port 4.

    Hi
You may loose connection to other devices that use the lower numbered Com ports but go into device manager and delete/uninstall all your Com ports, also uninstall your USB to Com Port Driver software then shutdown/restart PC and run the usb driver for your cable this should allocate lower a com port, as there shouldn't be any pre-allocated, then try again.
