I for one do not understand about blu-ray and HD,
so I have been reading up on it on here, but there is one
thing I cannot seem to find is:-

can Blue-ray and HD disk be played on your ordinary DVD player
or do you have to go out one again and purchase another new
TV and player again?

am confused LOL

no blu-ray and hddv can not be played on your dvd player you need to go out and buy a blu-ray player to do that
