    Hello y'all

Eurovox (redbox)continuously flickers, skips and loses signal with all channels. It used to do this some of the time but now it does it 70% of the time.

I have not messed with any of the connections. Infact i have checked these and they are fine. The box in the other room has the same problem. Could this be the server (Vurjin in the midlands)? I know there is a main brown box outside the house somewhere but i have not checked that.

What about some kind of signal booster? If anyone has had any similar problems and knows how to sort it (or anyone with any ideas) then any advice will be much appreciated

the strange thing is for some period the picture is perfect. No breaks in the signal/picture, no flickering. This tells me it cant be any connection or something at my end. But ofcourse i am unsure.

you should ring up your provider and ask them is there a problem in your area also if you have the cable split try it from the main feed.

the internet is running at full speed. I will tryin it directly without the splitter.

as said before make sure your pipes signal is good go into user installation and see what the strength of each transponder is it should be between 80 and 90 percent if thats ok then make sure your scarts are ok cos if your scart isnt working right it can cause the picture to break up bad .. if the sgnal is below 80 percent you prob will need a booster if its above 90 then you prob could do with an attenuator to reduce the signal and stop interferece hope this helps in some way

iv connected the main wire directly into box (ie without the splitter) and still the same issue which i guess means that it aint the splitter. The internet connection is strong and fine.

I have swapped the scart leads but no luck. Also checked the signals for each channel and it is around 85%

Remember the same thing happens to two different boxes and it never used to happen until last few weeks.

If you have a problem on two boxes its a CC issue. Do you have an isolator connected in the box?

    Hi,

I have a similar issue with my eurovox red 2007 in Dublin.

it has the latest firmware, signal is at around 85%. sometimes, everything works fine but other times, I get "No signal".

    Any recommendations?

    Hi all,

I'm experiencing the same issues since yesterday. I have 3 Eurovox's ( 2 are MaxV and 1 is Red ). All have started displaying No Signal errors. Each is off a seperate NTL-installed connection in seperate rooms. I did a rescan on a MaxV and they came back for a while but went again this morning. All 3 have the very latest firmware installed in May and had been working fine. My father-in-law lives within a mile and his is fine. Dublin NTHell area
Are a lot of people experiencing the same issue? Does anyone have any suggestions.

its obviously a local cc issue and nothing to do with the box.

cable company, you could have a mate 100 yards away and his cable is working fine but yours could be having trouble, mine has been going intermittently all day,and i would say its a localised issue.

    Hi Karljd,

Is there anything that I can do myself to rectify this issue or are my boxes now defunct. What do you thing?

ok folks, I've noticed this happening only in the last few days aswell. I am in chorus land (Naas) with a Max V and we noticed it first on the kids channels (Boomerang, etc). It only happens during the program and when its on the ads, there is no picture flicker. It seems to be isolated to the kids channels at the moment as I've not seen the flicker during a movie or some of the entertainment channels.

Do you think something is starting again to pi$$ us off or is it just a temporary thing? Would like to hear if any other Naas chorus users have the same problem.
