I am a newbie that is self learning on hi-def video recording. I just purchased the canon hg-10 with the AVCHD technology. I burned my first dvd, but it will only play on my PS3 and not in my standard dvd player. I understand it is because of the AVCGD technology compatibility. I am needing to know if anyone is aware of how to convert the avchd files so that it will play on a standard dvd player on not a hidef player such as the PS3?
Hi, if you van get your hands on Pinnacle 11 - it alloows you to burn a dvd, in both HD or standard. there are plenty of tutorials on pinnacle website to show how it's done. K
