Windows Blue Screen

    i need help fixing the windows blue screen error. everytime i start the comp, i got the blue screen error right after the window xp start. I did some test and i found that the local disk is not working properly. The computer cant read it for some reason.

    you need to use your windows installation cd to bootup into the DOS screen. Next do a chckdsk c:\f, this will fix any system file corruption. If you computer was improperly shutdown it will corrupt the system files. Also you can try and move your ram memory to a different slot and see if that helps.

    ok i will try that today
    btw what if i reformat the computer? would that work?
