Hi, I've been using my external HD for quite some time, I was wondering if anyone could recomend any good HD monitoring soft?(S.M.A.R.T, etc..) Just in case its dying on me. On a related question, I have a couple more external HDs but I rarely use them. Purely for storage, maybe accessed for 20 minutes every two weeks. Since they are rarely used, does this increase their lifespan? Thanks for the help.
