I have modded x-box, 2.3 lite chip on latest bios running a dashboard. What should I take into consideration prior to signing in for the first time to x-box live? besides switching off the chip and using original game cd, of course... I heard certain dashboards can get you banned?
That's it. Make 100% sure your chip is off. It doesn't matter what Bios / Dash you are running on your chip, if it is not the standard MS dashboard / Bios then you will get banned from live. I know people are beta testing new settings that will automatically save you if you try and get on live with your mod enabled. But the final release will be a while yet.
Ok i'm not too familiar with XBlive and modded systems, so exucse my ignorance. But don't some games auto connect to Live to get scores and stats?
The only one I've seen trying to do that is Counter-Strike but still I'm not sure since I turned off my xbox before it could even get connected!
