I been using DVD Fab and Shrink with awesome success until recently. Out of the blue it started working extremely slow. I have used DVDfab on about 100 DVD's with no problem. Then it started slowing way down. I reinstalled and it didn't do any good. It takes an average of 2 hours to get thru DVD fab. Shrink will vary. By the time I'm finished burning a 1 1/2 hour dvd I have close to 4 hrs into it and it was taking half that time. Any solutions?
You could check to see if the burner is set for 'DMA if available' - if it has reset to 'PIO' it would account for the time difference. http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=61905
^^Right on. Check and see if your drive has slipped into the much slower PIO mode. The guide Attar linked you to should do the trick.
