MJ DVD Live In Bucharest has a loud hiss/static in the soundtrack. Exchanged disk 3 times but noise is still there. Used CloneDVD2 & DVD Shrink but can't get rid of the noise. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for responding

The entire stock of this particular DVD has a poor audio quality? Wouldn't there be massive complaints about it if that were the case? Pretty sure I'm not the only one wanting to back up this DVD. Could be some type of encryption or a codec I don't have. Any other suggestions?

probably wasn't a high quality recording at the concert when they made the production.

Your response is greatly appreciated

I've done some experimenting. Using WMP 11 and MPC it doesn't play clearly. I've considered updating the codecs but every other movie plays on these two players so I didn't think codecs were the problem.

What weireded me out was when I played the disk on VLC it played perfectly clear! What does VLC have that WMP and MPC and Interplay doesn't? I don't know how to break the players down codec by codec to examine the difference.

Evdentually I want to back up this disk but first the problem has to be isolated. This is like trying to find a vaccine for a rare disease. I bet there are plenty of MJ fans who would like to have it.

Thanks again for responding :)
