Why the hell did LOCOENG ban me for piracy?!
This is the exact copy of the message.

Notice that the bits in bold red imply that i do not wish to break Afterdawn's piracy rule and that all of the exchange will be done off the premises (for want of a better word) of this site.

I even posted my feelings of this subject in the thread, feeling angry that some person thinks im breaking the forum rules when I am clearly not.:

... Because you're looking for a way to play the game when you don't have the CD Key, and you're asking people for their unused Keys in the process?

There's a very legal, very cheap, very easy way to get a CD Key. It sounds like "bee" in pig latin.

Also, I've never tried this "maneuver" myself, but I've heard that telling AfterDawn moderators to "get lost" is an easy way to get on their bad side.

 

It's like this the police have a mole in your gang and you plan some nefarious scheme. But before you can execute your plan the police swoop in to stop the crime. You never did actually commit the crime but you plotted in full view of public. I see you're still around so LOCO must have been pretty lenient on you. Learn from your mistake and all will be good. You must like the place since you've returned. Start fresh again and let it drop before lightning really strikes. LOL

garmoon explains the situation well in his first post.

the member just didn't get it. in order to get a serial/cdkey, you have to ask someone. asking for ANY serial/cdkey goes agains the rules, EVEN if you trade outside of aD. you can try wording it differently, but you will still be asking.

what does the member who gives their cdkey get when they trade? possibly nothing. there's nothing in the post that indicates this; it's a one way trade. if cash was given, then everything would be ok, because you practically bought the game again.

 

i forgot about the aD buy/sell section rules; i almost forgot there was a buy/sell section. gotta keep that in mind if something like this happens again. if i posted that with the original aD rules, i'm sure the member would've gotten it.

starcraft is the worlds best game, i mean com'on....i was playing it on win95 and heck im still playing it! the game never gets old!!!!
