Is there a way to get subtitle hardcore in avi without converting it?
I want to play then in dvd player?
my dvd player plays yellow and small subtitles so is there a easy way without converting to change color and size of subtitles.

Do you have an avi and a separate .srt subtitle file with the same name?

You can use the likes of 'AVIAddXSubs' to merge the subtitles to the AVI.
The new file has subtitles that are controlled by the remote.
There is no encoding and it only takes a few seconds.

The other way is to add permanent (burned in) subs, using VirtualDub - but the file has to be re-compressed, with some loss of quality.
