cant see folders in ftp software on dbox

hi i just got a new box cause i spilt beer into my old one and naturally it stoped working.

so i got a new one but it has laky pro on it.

i can seem to connect to the box with ftp software and windows but i cant view any folders .

is this a setting on the box or on the PC.

any help greatly appreciated.

 

Are you getting an error message or what do you see?

 

no error message it asks me for the password and user and i can enter them but where the folders normally are its just blank.

it does say something about entering passive mode .

do i need to change something on the box it is running Lacky pro

 

When you press connect, does it connect to the box? How did you get the IP ADDRESS of the box?
