Ive used firefox for years and always loved it but recently Ive been having some trouble with it. For some reason when I close out of certain ADS that pop up it will freeze up firefox (and only firefox) and I will be forced to end task in task manager. I can avoid the crash by minimizing the pop up for a couple seconds/minutes and then closing out of it. I can tell you what the add is next time it pops up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i have had similar problems with firefox... i would be loading a page and all the sudden the send error report box shows up and im forced to close my page... i recently downloaded the beta of firefox 3 and i am hoping that it will fix that problem maybe you can try that too
Well, first you should update to Firefox 3 which just came out. Then install the addon AdBlock Plus. It does wonders.
