I am using Vista Home Premium. I want to copy a avi file from my Vista PC to an XP Home pc. I can successfully copy the avi file to my thumb drive, but when I copy the avi file to my XP pc, I get an error (Nero and Divx player) that the file cannot be open (is maybe corrupt). Divx says the file is missing a video track. The avi file plays fine on my Vista PC. Anything I am missing?

Do you have media player classic installed on your XP? Try playing the AVI in there and see if that works.
