Hey Guys, I have a question with 4 possible answers, which is the right one? (Its a question on my works breakroom wall, winner gets a half day!)

"Which of the following best describes Default Gateway?"

    A) The manufacturers address given to a device
    B) A portal to the VIOP segment
    C) An IP Address of the local router on the host's Subnet
    D) The first device in a subnet

I'm leaning towards answers C & D, what do you guys think?

    The answer is C.

The IP Address of the Router, needed to send information or video from one network to another.

A default gateway is a node (a router) on a computer network that serves as an access point to another network
