They are both the same thing. Artic Silver thermal paste, and the cleaner is for removing the old thermal paste.

Make sure you get "5" from Arctic Silver they also make ceramic or aluminum pastes, don't get those.

okay got the paste today and put it on the silver chip's then put on screw's from

http://www.x-clamp-fix.com/catalog/index...-Clamp-Fix.html

so i went to do the over heating the heatsinks thing but when i plugged the 360 in i got 3 lights straight away so i turned it off then on same result so i left it on to over heat for 3 min then turned it off, left it cool then put it back together and it worked fine from the dashboard for 20 min.turned it off then on 3 red lights again????

I don't think he means GBP as he used the "euros" sign. The pound sign looks like this: £

yea it is, especially since the euro is worth more than the dollar, so it would be like 20-25 somewhere around there, not sure what the exact exchange rate is currently.

i was just there its about 1/4 more our money, as for the box did you use the hair dryer? did you over heat properlly? sounds like to me u plugged it in and thought it would work right away. also thermal paste could be an issue as well. make sure you read the guides in detail. sounds like you missed at step to me. do it all over again.

sorry didn't get back to ye in awhile.
first off i tried the x clamp bout 2 months wwith the small one and it worked fine(i used the same paste)
then when i got the 3 red lights again i said i will replace the paste and the second x clamp but can't do it.

i tried using less paste but still gets the 3red light's.

will i just leave it die???
