hey i have nevr done anything lke this i have a slim ps2 with a crystal chip 2.0 sle with the latest hacked firmware i have a 500gb usb hdd and i would like to boot games off of it how would i do this step-by-step the simpelist way possable thanxs

Simplest way I guess would be to download UsbAdvance and burn it too disk.
Then download the first two utilities in the thread below.
USB Extreme Win32 utility - to format usb drive and copy games
USBInsane - also copies games from either ISO or drive tray

You don't need to follow the DOS tutorial, just use either of the two apps to copy games.

Just read the first part of tutorial and the last for compatibility.

Check this thread later though for games that won't work and may need to patch the DNAS

oops i forgot i should mention i only have a vista pc so i need programs that work with it i have the advance disk

You should be able to use the 2 programs with Windows Vista, if need be just use compatibility mode to run them.

yes i did figure that out on my on and i put a game on my hard drive but when i load usbadvance disc it go to a black screen and thats it. i did hear about some games not working with it but the list that i found i dont really understand it. i am trying to get rock band to play since that is my only ps2 game at the moment
