I need to find out how to reformat my xbox back to working condition

I believe it has a chip in it but im not sure. I bought it like three years ago and it has served me well untill i let a child play it and i think he loaded a corrupt bios, im not sure because i was gone. The entire time ive had the unit it operated on an orange light but now it flashes orange and red and goes to an error page. It has a 120 gig hard drive and it will not even let me into the dashboard to see the ip or change any system utilities. Is there any way that I can find my IP through networking on my computer. I have a gut feeling it is 192.168.0.3 but I cant get flash fxp to let me in and I cant ftp it throught my router in internet explorer, is this due to my error or will it not ftp unless it boots up. I can get no function at all out of it but am willing to do what it takes to save it.

 

It should boot up the slayers or AID disks.
Use those to load dashboards, correct bios & reformat hdd's

ok i managed to find the aid v 4.20, packed the iso file, and burnt the image onto a dvd. i loaded it into my console but it still takes me to the error screen. Its coming up with an error 13 dashboard can't be launched. any thoughts or ideas?

 

Go to the dashboard section and install the ms dashboard I think it's 5960 or something to that effect and make sure you have your hacked dash that you want to load up also installed. That should fix error 13.
