the internet...... a computer, a mouse, a keyboard, and a game.....oh yea, a monitor and some electricity to run the computer.
lol. yeah... basically the requirements of a normal game. online requires an internet connection. games used to work fine on 56k last time i checked but we're moving into an era of broadband and online games so i can't gaurantee 56k would be sufficient. an alternative is that some games have LAN/network. this doesn't require an internet connection. this requires a minimum of 2 computers/laptops or one of each. the game must be installed on both systems and work similar to online play. HOWEVER, i don't know if online play has more play modes available. i think i would be correct in assuming online play has more game modes. if someone can confirm this for me.
