I'm trying to install the KB893056 update on Windows XP Media Center 2005 with Service Pack 3. This is the update that shows Hibernate as a separate option in the Turn Off Computer menu. Anybody else having this problem?

Sorry, I forgot to even mention the problem. Well I installed the update then updated to SP3. I don't see the update in Add/Remove programs and if I try to install it again it says "Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the update you are applying. There is no need to install this update."
I did the appropriate registry modifications too and it still doesn't work. I'm close to just restoring my image, I just need to restore my documents, nothing else.

SP3 is just a collection of all previous updates...yeah i'd go back to sp2 and gather all the old updates and try again....i haven't run with SP3 yet really!

Apparently the hotfix is a part of SP3, it just needs the registry editing to show it.
