pls help my psp fades to black every few minutes

sorry about my earlier post...ive got this psp for about a month now and a problem came up.while playing a game after a few minutes the screen suddenly freezes and fades to black and i cant see anything on the screen but the background sound is still playing and the buttons are still active. can someone tell me the problem.thank you.

what firmware are you on and have you dropped your psp or has it had any hard knocks?

Could also be that you're running to many plugins at the same time which is what happened to me. I was using Cwcheat and the auto irshell so i disbaled ir shell auto in my recovery sceen then just went into the irshell logo in the xmb game its worked out for me

im at 3.90 m33-3...i don't know if it's ever been dropped, before it broke my friend borrowed it for a day after that two days later the problem came up. i had it brought to a technician the first one said the directional button is pressing down on something under it making the psp grounded, the other one said the board has problems and needs to be replaced and thats not good the board costs half a brand new psp here :-(
