Macbook dvd burner

    Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good dual layer dvd burner for a regular mackbook

    yes it is called build one it is cheaper and you can then place what ever drive you want on your macbook.

    All you need.

    1. Ibm dual layer burner /50.00/100.00 depending.

    2.a external firewire box that supports your burners drive.

    Thats it

    if you have trouble burning after you have connected the burner install patchburn this will fix your problems not only in itunes but for mac os x leopard and tiger as well.

    HP dvd940 external works great for mine. It does just about everything including Lightscribe. Personally thought, I've been geared more towards getting products by LaCie. The good thing about this drive is that it works with the LaCie Lightscribe Software without any problems.

    the lacie software seems to work with almost any drive.
