Having a problem running .avi files in Quicktime for Mac OSX. Video works fine but there's no audio. I'm assuming I'm missing a codec, but I have no idea where and what to look for. I've always been a PC guy before and this is my first time using a Mac... and, well, I'm lost. Does anyone have any suggestions where to get a freeware codec pack for mac? Any and all help greatly appreciated.
PERIAN. need i say more best plugin for video. warning though some videos will only play avi with sound under vlc media player for mac and others will play under perian and even funnier stay away from certain adult only videossome of them have no sound at all under avi.
