close, minimize, maximize buttons not working

    well i'm using Windows Vista home premium and as stated in the title. the close, minimize, maximize buttons on every window does not work. when i click on it, it changes the look as if it is responding to the command but it doesn't respond

    Open task manager and look for a program hogging all your resources...another program is conflicting with Vista.

    didn't find anything. i have 2gigs of ram so that's not the problem.

    thnx for that i'm gonna try installing service pack 1 on my laptop and see what happens. i think that might be a problem. i'll post back what happens. the user32 thing doesn't have anything to use with my laptop cause i'm using a genuine vista(came with laptop).
