Basically I want a 37" - 42" TV with a good contrast ratio and thats below £750 (live in UK). I'm not to sure about whether to bother with 1080p as most people say you can't tell the difference, however I have perfect eye sight and am very fussy about detail, then again veiwing distance is around 7 - 10 feet. Here are my questions:

    1. Should I get a TV now or is there anything I should wait for?
    2. From what I have said, should I go for a 1080p LCD or a 720p plasma (roughly same price range)?
    3. Can anyone beat THIS deal?

Thanks for all help in advance, it is much appreciated.

Forget it, I found a 42" top of the range, well known branded, 1080p, 100hz plasma for around £800 with my name on it.
