modded 360 reads unplayable disc.

I modded my 360 and it plays a burnt ninja gaiden 2 perfectly each time and played burst limit once and then it always appears as unplayable and fight night appears as unplayable all my originals are working perfectly. I have a hitachi drive. A guy told me that I need a new lense is this true. I believe it was just not burnt well.

Before you get a new lens, try to calibrate the dvd pot. Here is a guide.

I had to do this with several Hitachi's to get them to play 100%.

I would read it very carefully, and make sure your multimeter can read at 20,000 ohms. You risk permanently damaging the whole PCB if you go below a certain resistance point.

you are telling him to do this instead of getting a new laser?... Just get a new laser. Messing with the pot is same as breaking laser.
