Hi all, I have a modded console with Wd 200 GB hdd it doesnt allow the total hdd size to be formatted.. I read that i need Unleash X to format large hdd's, but it looks like it cant see the extra size.. this might be due to jumper settings... master/slave 137GB limits etc.. anyone able to help please ??
If there is a jumper to cap the drive size it is clearly labeled on the drive for position and function. These kind of drives are very rare now. for the formatting.. there are too many variants of the softmod exploits around to comment. I have formatted 300 gig drives using the xwizard installer.. with 260ish going to F: It's risky.. they can corrupt so back up that eeprom, and then maybe format out of the box using xboxhdm?
